Business & Economic Forum fostering trade, investment and cooperation between the
Republic of North Macedonia and the
Czech Republic organized by the
Czech Macedonian Assoication of Commerce (CMAC) in cooperation with the
Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trades, the
Macedonian Ministry for Energy,
Mining, and Mineral Resources and the
Embassy of Republic of North Macedonia to Czech Republic,
the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic,
Technological and Industrial Development Zones TIDZ, CzechTrade.
The forum held on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 at the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade was opened by H.E. Lukáš Vlček, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, H.E. Timčo Mucunski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia and H.E. Sanja Božinovska, Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Raw Materials of North Macedonia.
At the Business and Economic Forum the economic and trade cooperation potential between the two countries was presented by H.E. Emil Krstevski, Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia to Czech Republic, Mr. Martin Pospíšil, Director of European Countries Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and Mr. Lukáš Martin, International Relations Director, Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic.
Experts presented investment opportunities in the Technological and Industrial Development Zones
North Macedonia - Free Zones Authority - DTIDZ, renewable energy initiatives and doing business environment in Macedonia and Czech Republic. Presentations were done by Mrs. Nikolina Stojanovska, Directorate for Technological, Industrial Development Zones of North Macedonia, TIDZ, the CzechTrade Agency, Mrs. Elena Markova-Velinova, Energy Regulatory Commission of Republic of North Macedonia and Mrs. Ljiljana Jovanovski Asenov, President of the Czech Macedonian Association of Commerce.
During the B2B networking panel Macedonian companies interested to establish cooperation with Czech counterparts were presented including Vitaminka Prilep, Vitalia, Replek Farm, AtomSteel, MAK-SYSTEM, BRAKO and Green Machines, Ading, and other.
